At my school we have started to use "I Can" statements with all of our lessons. These are to help keep the students as well as us focused on the goal of the lesson. Here are a couple of the I Can statements that I have been working on. I have a lot more that I need to get pictures of. These are based off of Kindergarten standards for art in Ohio.
At first, I thought that making these was going to be a real waste of my time. But they really do help keep the focus of the lesson. I also have a lot of fun designing the posters and drawing the pictures to go with them. I can't wait to finish more and share them with you.
